If you would've asked me what I wanted to be when I was growing up, the eight years old creative me would have said I wanted to be an artist since I was my aunt's "art dealer" at the time.

 

Fourteen years old event promoter Amy would have said I wanted to be a chef.

 

At 17, I wanted to become a lawyer while enrolling on Mass Communications and starting my "first company". 

 

Even after moving to Miami in early 2015 and starting multiple online stores, I had no idea I wanted to be an entrepreneur.

 

It wasn't until a few days before beginning classes that it seemed I moved in the right direction with a last-minute switch of majors from criminal justice to business administration.

 

At some point, I was also a trader with the dream of playing a '92 George Soros move and going away to a private island with cats and tequila, even though I was already working with a team developing project #5.

It took multiple projects, years of freelancing, preparation, failures, lessons and successes to see myself as a real entrepreneur, business owner or even a boss. I felt more like a master of none. After all, what is an entrepreneur?

​

I'm no business guru whatsoever, but after years of failures and some successes under the belt of 12 projects, Bussco slowly started to form. This was mainly due to the advice I gave family, friends and acquaintances about their businesses. Whether it was working hands-on, developing the project with them, simply giving them advice, referring them to tools or sometimes just being their accountability partner.

As a younger millennial, of course, this project had to have its own website, so here we are. Sharing the info and advice I'd like to have heard when this entrepreneurial journey started, A.K.A. project #13.
