Main Power Service Entrance & Downstream (UL 1449 3^rd Edition Type 1 and Type 2 Products)

These Surge Protection Devices (SPD's) are designed for Service Entrance and downstream applications. They are UL 1449 3^rd Edition certified and have the type 1 and type 2 designations. Our type 1 SPD uses large block 50kA MOV's that have thermal protection. Each series offers protection, which is ideal for remote locations, and extreme duty applications where downtime is unacceptable. Our units offer protection from 50kA per phase up to 1000kA per phase. The XAL Series is a true 10-mode protection unit, with true line-to-line MOV protection. The XGA and the GPS Series products are Type 2 SPD's that offer individually replaceable modules per protection mode. We are one of the few in the industry to offer SPD products with individually replaceable suppression modules. These replaceable module products utilize heavy-duty 40mm MOV's with internal fusing and thermal disconnects.

	XAS Series One, replaceable module per unit with large block 50kA thermal protected MOV's with surge current levels of 100kA, 150kA, 200kA, 250kA, 300kA, 400kA, and 500kA per phase, with redundant indicator lights for each phase. Includes dry contacts and audible alarm with silence and test buttons. Type 1 SPD for line or load side applications.
	XAL Series One, replaceable module per unit with large block 50kA thermal protected MOV's with surge current levels of 150kA, 300kA, and 450kA per phase, with redundant indicator lights for each phase. Includes dry contacts and audible alarm with silence and test buttons. True 10 mode product with line to line protection. Type 1 SPD for line or load side applications.
	XDS Series Type 1 SPD available in surge current ratings of 100kA, 150kA, and 200kA per phase with indicator lights for each phase.
	XCS Series Type 1 SPD available in surge current ratings of 100kA per phase with indicator lights for each phase. Compact economical design.
	SPDEE Series Type 1 SPD available in surge current ratings of 50kA per mode. With a small, compact design and line or load side installation flexibility, this unit can be installed anywhere in any electrical distribution system. (DIN-RAIL option available)
	XGA Series One, replaceable module per phase and surge current levels of 160kA and 240kA per phase, with redundant indicator lights for each phase indicating Full/Reduced/No protection and audible alarm with silence and test buttons. Features patented TranSafeTM Circuitry.
